Our family has been in Caledon for many generations. And life may have taken many turns over the last fifteen years, but we've landed back home!
In the spring of 2021, we arrived with our four kids and two pet rabbits... and our daughters had Mulberry Girls, a little jam business that they'd started up as part of a homeschool project during the pandemic. Little did we know that their little jam business was a seed that would grow to be Willoughby Farmhouse.
We have the happiest free-range chickens, and two of the sweetest little Nigerian dwarf goats you've ever seen. And with our gardens bursting with asparagus and tomatoes, apples and grapes, red currants and berries, we knew that we had to find a way to share with the community around us. As some of you know, we had to close our little side-porch shop full of goodies, but our 12-year-old daughter has a plan, and she's built a roadside stand!
Thank you for a wonderful season... you've all made Eden very happy and proud. She's saving all her egg money to set up a space to rescue two horses.
See you next spring!
